FAQ

Garage door questions, answered.

How much does garage door spring replacement cost in Southwest Florida?+

Most single torsion-spring replacements run $189–$289 flat. A standard two-spring pair on a double door is typically $289–$389 installed, with lifetime-warranty springs and same-day service across Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.

Do you offer same-day garage door repair?+

Yes. We dispatch live techs across the 941 area code seven days a week. Most spring, cable, opener, and off-track calls are completed the same day — often within 2–4 hours of the call.

Are your garage doors hurricane-rated for Florida code?+

Every new door we sell meets or exceeds Florida wind-load and impact requirements for Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. We install Haas and CHI doors that carry Florida Product Approval numbers and are stamped to local design-pressure ratings.

What garage door opener brands do you install?+

We're authorized dealers for LiftMaster, Genie, and Chamberlain. Wi-Fi-enabled belt-drive units with battery backup are our most popular choice and come standard with smartphone app setup.

Are you licensed and insured in Florida?+

Yes — fully licensed, bonded, and insured for general liability and workers' comp throughout the State of Florida. We're happy to email proof of insurance before any job.

What's covered under your warranty?+

Torsion springs carry a lifetime warranty. Openers and accessories carry the full manufacturer warranty (typically 5–10 years on motors and 1 year on accessories). Our workmanship is guaranteed for the life of the part.

Do you replace just a single damaged panel, or do I need a whole new door?+

If the door is still in production, a single section can usually be replaced — we order the matching panel from Haas or CHI and swap it. If the door is older than ~15 years or the model is discontinued, full replacement is usually the smarter long-term call.

Will my garage door opener still work during a power outage?+

We recommend and install battery-backup openers on every job. LiftMaster and Genie units automatically switch to backup power during an outage, so you can still open and close the door through a hurricane-season power loss without disconnecting the trolley.
