Why springs snap
Torsion springs are rated in cycles — usually 10,000 (about 7 years of typical use) or 20,000 on upgraded builds. Florida humidity and salt air corrode the coils faster than the rating assumes, which is why we default to galvanized, higher-cycle springs on every replacement.
Stocked truck, first-visit fix
Every service truck carries the common torsion sizes for residential doors in Sarasota, Manatee, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties. That's why we can quote flat-rate: the part is already with the tech.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a spring replacement?+
Most residential torsion spring replacements are $250–$450 installed. We quote flat-rate before any work — no per-hour meter.
One spring or two?+
If you have two springs and one broke, both are near end-of-life. We replace in pairs so you don't pay a second service call in a few months.
Can I open the door manually with a broken spring?+
Don't. The door becomes its full 150–350 lb weight. Leave it down and call us.
